I never thought that this would happen. I never thought I’d be the jealous friend. That should be me you want to be with all the time, not her. That should be me you brag to your friends about, not her. You should be calling me “babe”, not her. I want to kiss you and hug you whenever I want. I want to be on your mind 24/7. I want to hold your hand. I want you to want me. But no, she gets you. Some random girl you barely know, and I, your friend, has to watch you fall in love with her. And I can’t tell you how I feel, because you love her, and I fear you won’t feel the same about me. So as your friend, I am expected to be happy for you, so that’s what I’ll do, be happy for you….and hide my feelings. Just know, that if she ever…EVER…hurts you in any way, I WILL KICK HER ASS…because…I love you.
